We are seeking an experienced IFR Pilot to deliver exceptional medical air transportation services using our EC135/H135 aircraft. This exciting opportunity includes scheduled shifts of seven days on and seven days off with 12-hour shifts, providing day or night service. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salaries ranging from $115,172 to $126,689 based on experience
  • Additional stipends including $5,000 for the Lead Pilot role, $5,000 for multi-responsibility, and $5,000 for IFR compliance
  • Sign-on bonus of $15,000 upon successful completion of training
  • A substantial retention bonus of $40,000 after 36 months under our pilot retention program

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the aircraft in compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and company policies
  • Coordinate with dispatch, medical, and ground teams for effective transport operations
  • Perform pre-flight inspections, monitoring weather conditions, and ensuring aircraft readiness
  • Maintain aircraft cleanliness and assist with routine tasks at the base
  • Report any aircraft discrepancies or incidents promptly
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Adhere to company protocols and embody our core values

Qualifications:

  • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
  • FAA Helicopter Instrument Rating and current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2,000 helicopter flight hours, with 1,000 PIC hours and 1,000 turbine hours
  • Experience flying at night and with instrument flight time as per our requirements
  • Must meet US Forest Service carding requirements

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Must not exceed a weight limit of 230 pounds, including gear
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs
  • Must regularly lift up to 70 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
