Exciting Benefits Await You:

  • Attractive starting salaries ranging from $115,172 to $126,689 (depending on experience)
  • Additional stipends that enhance your earning potential:
    • $5,000 Lead Pilot Stipend
    • $5,000 Multi-Responsibility Stipend
    • $5,000 IFR Allowance
  • Sign-On Bonus of $15,000 after training
  • Retention Bonus of $40,000 after 36 months

About the Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients as part of our high-quality medical air service. Scheduled shifts consist of 7 days on and 7 days off, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate aircraft adhering to safety standards, FAA regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with dispatch, medical teams, and ground personnel for seamless operations
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and risk assessments to maintain aircraft readiness
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of aircraft and base facilities
  • Report any discrepancies or incidents immediately to the appropriate channels
  • Complete required paperwork and provide detailed shift change reports
  • Uphold the REACH values, maintaining professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications:

  • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
  • FAA Helicopter Instrument Rating (required)
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2,000 helicopter flight hours
  • At least 1,000 helicopter Pilot-In-Command (PIC) hours
  • 1,000 turbine flight hours
  • 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)
  • 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time
  • Meet US Forest Service carding requirements

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Weight limit of 230 pounds, including flight gear
  • Able to sit for extended periods and occasionally perform physical tasks
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  • Adaptable to irregular schedules and operational shifts
